Meet Bindi!
Bindi is a 7-month-old German Shepherd mix with a loving personality, a playful spirit, and a heart full of affection. She was rescued as part of the Ferris seizure case, where more than 90 dogs were removed from unsafe conditions by American Humane. Despite her difficult start, Bindi has embraced her second chance and is ready to find the forever family she deserves.
This sweet girl is dog friendly and enjoys spending time with her canine companions. She is also house trained and crate trained, making her a great addition to a home ready for a young dog. Bindi absolutely adores people and is happiest when she's receiving attention, affection, and plenty of love from her favorite humans.
Like many young Shepherds, Bindi is energetic and enthusiastic. She is still working on her manners and can get a little excited, which sometimes results in a jumpy greeting. Because of this, she would do best in a home with older children who can help her continue learning appropriate boundaries.
Bindi has not been tested with cats. With continued training, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she is sure to grow into an incredible companion. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend who is eager to love and be loved, Bindi may be the perfect fit for your family.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
