Meet Clover!
Clover is a sweet 10-year-old Shepherd mix who deserves to spend her golden years knowing what it feels like to be safe, loved, and truly home. She was found abandoned and left to fend for herself as a senior, but despite everything she has been through, Clover remains a gentle and loving girl.
Clover is house trained and crate trained and walks beautifully on a leash. She is calm and non-reactive when passing other dogs on walks, and she enjoys the company of her canine friends. Because she can feel more secure with another dog by her side, Clover needs a calm, dog-friendly canine companion in her forever home.
She loves human attention and happily soaks up pets and affection. She may even let you know when another dog is getting more attention than she thinks she deserves with a little barkâshe knows her worth!
She also has arthritis in her back, which makes it difficult for her to squat or sit normally. She is also suspected to have some vision and hearing loss. Despite these age-related challenges, she has so much love to give and deserves a comfortable, patient home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by people who will cherish her.
Clover is looking for a peaceful home where she can relax, enjoy gentle walks, receive plenty of affection, and have a canine friend to help her feel safe and confident.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
