Some cats are named for their looks. Some for their purrs. Braveheart? He earned his name with every step he took to survive.
This gentle gray-and-white tuxedo has lived through the unforgiving streets of Baltimore, navigating darkness both literal and figurative. Blind and FeLV+, Braveheart has faced a world stacked against him — and yet, he’s here. He’s alive. He’s safe. And now, he’s learning what it means to be loved.
Braveheart is understandably shy, and his heart carries the weight of all he’s endured. He’ll need to be approached slowly, with soft voices and gentle hands. But beneath his cautious exterior is a soul ready to blossom — not flashy or loud, but steady, sincere, and profoundly worthy.
Due to his FeLV status, Braveheart would need to be an only cat or live with other FeLV+ cats. He gets along with his feline roommates and would do well in a home with other easygoing kitties. Most of all, Braveheart needs someone with the patience to let him trust on his terms, and the heart to celebrate every quiet victory — a blink, a lean, a moment of peace.
Braveheart may never see the world, but with you, he’ll finally get to feel what it means to be truly home. Fill out an online adoption application today!
