Hi, I’m Mittens and I am a Priority Pet!
I am a 2-year-old tabby gal with a soft spot for cozy spots and gentle company. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but give me some time and I’ll turn into your loyal little shadow, quietly following you from room to room. One of my favorite quirks? I’m a self-petter! I’ll rub my head against your hand, arm, or leg to show affection in my own special way — it’s pretty adorable if I do say so myself. I love to play fetch with pom poms, chase laser pointers, and scratch on cardboard boxes, and exploring cat houses. I’m litter box trained and perfectly content to entertain myself when you’re busy, so no worries about separation anxiety here.
Now, full honesty — I can get a little cranky sometimes and might throw in a swat or two if I’m feeling unsure. But with patience, love, and a calm environment, I know I’ll keep blossoming into my best self. I’m also carrying a few extra pounds, but that just makes me extra cuddly (and I’m working on my fitness goals one play session at a time!).
I may not be picture perfect, but I’m hoping to find someone who sees me for who I am — a sweet, funny, perfectly imperfect girl who just wants a home to call her own.
As a Priority Pet, Pawmetto Lifeline is offering FREE basic medical care for LIFE!
That includes:
Annual exams for life at Pawmetto Lifeline
Core vaccines for life at Pawmetto Lifeline
Cost of medications plus 10% (*excludes HW/flea prevention) through Pawmetto Lifeline
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.
If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
