Meet Mako — A Sweet Brown Tabby with White and a Big Personality
I may be a little shy when we first meet, but please don’t let that fool you. Once I decide you’re one of my people, you’ll discover a sweet, affectionate boy with a serious purr and a love for cuddles.
I can be nervous around new people, so I’ll need someone who understands that good friendships take a little time. Give me the chance to settle in, let me come to you at my own pace, and I promise you’ll start seeing my true personality shine.
One thing I definitely don’t need time to warm up to is other animals! I absolutely love my furry friends. I have a wonderful time playing with the cats in my foster home, and I’ve done well with both small and large dogs, too. I love having a buddy to play with, chase around, and snuggle up beside when all that kitten business has worn me out.
I’m also great with gentle children who understand how to give me the space and patience I need to feel comfortable.
I’m litter box trained and doing wonderfully. I’m also a curious and adventurous little guy who loves exploring my surroundings. I’m surprisingly quick when I get a case of the zoomies, so you’ll want to be ready for some serious kitten energy!
After all that running, playing, and exploring, I’m happy to settle down with my favorite furry friends and enjoy some cuddle time.
I may start out as the shy little brown tabby quietly watching everything from the sidelines, but underneath that cautious exterior is a gentle, loving kitten just waiting to trust his person.
Give me a little patience, a safe place to settle in, and someone willing to let me show you who I really am, and I’ll give you purrs, cuddles, playful adventures, and a sweet little best friend for life.
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
