Hi there, I'm Mariah! I'm a tortoiseshell girl with a big personality tucked into a tiny package, and I've spent the last two months in foster care learning just how good life can be.
My favorite hobby? Chasing and batting around anything with a bell in it — the jingle drives me wild, and I will absolutely wear myself out playing. When I've finally had enough excitement for one day, there's nothing I love more than snuggling right up under your chin for some quiet cuddle time. I promise it's the best part of my day, and I bet it'll be the best part of yours too.
I get along great with other cats, so I'd be happy to join a home that already has a feline friend or two. Dogs are still a bit of a mystery to me since I haven't lived with any, so a cat-only (or dog-free) household would suit me best for now. I'm already litter box trained, I don't have any special needs, and I'm not a shredder, an escape artist, or a runner — I'm just a easygoing girl who wants to be loved. I also don't have any separation anxiety, so I'll be just fine holding down the fort while you're out, though I'll always be excited to see you when you're home.
If you're looking for a playful, affectionate kitten who loves toy time as much as cuddle time, I think we'd make a wonderful pair. Come meet me — I'd love to be your girl!
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.
If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
