Hi, I’m Benny! I’m a handsome gentleman around 8–10 years young, and I’ve got plenty of love and life left to share. I’m a friendly, affectionate guy who believes everyone I meet is a potential best friend. Kids, adults, and even strangers get the same warm welcome from me! I love attention, enjoy treats, and am always happy to spend time with my people.
I have the perfect mix of mellow charm and playful spirit. I enjoy going for walks, taking car rides, and exploring the great outdoors. I’m a curious fellow who loves to roam and discover what’s happening around me, so I’ll need a responsible guardian who keeps me safely secured when we’re outside. I walk nicely on a leash, although I can be a strong puller, so I could use some practice with my leash manners.
One of my most special qualities is how much I love cats! I enjoy interacting with them and think they make wonderful companions. I’m friendly and curious around other dogs, too, although I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to socialize with them in my current home. I have shown some mounting behavior around female dogs, so slow introductions and guidance will be important when meeting potential canine companions.
I’m a smart boy who already knows several tricks! I can sit, stay, and roll over, and I can even bark on command when you give me the right hand signal. I’m easygoing about treats and mealtimes, and I’m not known for chewing up toys or household items. I’m also housetrained, and I don’t need to be crated.
At my age, I’ve mastered the art of being a loving companion while still enjoying life's little adventures. I’m looking for a family who will give me affection, include me in their daily activities, and help me stay safe while I explore.
