I am a male, tan and black German Shepherd Dog mix.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 8 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 25, 2026.
Scoobie was surrendered by his owner. We believe him to be a beagle mix; he definitely has the body and demeanor for it. Scoobie is a very high energy boy, who loves people. He craves to be the center of attention! Scoobie worked with a trainer this past week as the demo dog and he did fantastic. He does great with other dogs that are reacting poorly in their kennel, walks really well on a leash, and has some slip lead training! Scoobie is very treat motivated and loves food in general. Actually he loves food so much he would benefit from a slow feeder. Scoobie is partially housebroken and continuing to work on it. He loves all toys (anything that squeaks will be his favorite). Scoobie has basic obedience training, so learning new things should be a cinch for him. Here's some goofy trivia about him: in his past home, he used to take shoes and socks and hide them! He didn't chew them or destroy them. He simply appears to be a bit of a kleptomaniac. Scoobie definitely also likes to talk to you. He is still at that age where he thinks everything he says is important. Come and meet this charming little guy 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Scoobie is neutered, microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines and has tested heartworm negative.
