Age: The shelter staff think I am about 9 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Dec 21, 2025 and am ready to go home today!

Bio: Annabelle is a frosty- faced princess who deserves to spend the rest of her life being treated like a queen! Since 2017, Annabelle has been in the shelter TWELVE separate times due to an unstable living situation. Our heart breaks every time she comes back to us, and she is truly deserving of a forever home and ending to the revolving shelter door.

“This attention-seeking sweetie needs a home full of security and companionship. Annabelle is incredibly friendly, loves being around people, and is very tolerant even when being examined and receiving her vaccinations. Despite all the uncertainty in her life, this good girl remains happy and hopeful. She has a great attitude and is always ready to make friends. Annabelle is super easy to leash up, handle and walk, she loves, loves, loves being with people and seeks out attention every chance she gets, and she’s treat- motivated and takes treats gently. She’s well-behaved and smart, aims to please, and is curious, fun, playful, and a little bit goofy. She’s full of life and love and she’s hoping to be someone’s forever companion and the center of someone’s universe.”
“Annabelle is a bit of an older lady with some gray on her face, but she is still very spritely. She walked very nicely on the leash out in the park. When I sat on a bench, she stayed right by my legs, tried to climb up next to me one time, but couldn’t quite manage it with her short legs. She loves to be petted. She loves treats and she takes them very gently.”
“Annabelle is one of my favorites! She’s a sassy old lady who loves getting pets and scratches and loves her human friends. I take her out a couple of times a week and we spend our time with her leaned up against me for scratches on her back and giving me kisses. This funny girl will make a great companion for someone!!”
Annabelle would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit or would be happy to hog all your love and attention for herself. She’s hoping for a quiet home, a few soft spots to nap, and a secure yard. Please ask to meet Annabelle today!!
