About: The Irresistible Ginger Gem Awaiting Her Forever Anchor
Meet Laiza, a truly magnificent 7-year-old darling senior with a beautiful milk chocolate coat and a bright white chest. This sweet girl has known the comfort of a family and is absolutely ready to lay her head down knowing she is home for good!
Laiza is no stranger to shelter life, which makes us all the more determined to find her true forever anchor. Our volunteer friends are completely smitten and amazed she hasn't been snatched up yet. Here's what they say about our beautiful redhead:
"Laiza is an affectionate, people-oriented beauty! She's so happy to get out, settling in by my side for pets and snuggles. She is affectionate, but not obnoxiously so; she doesn’t push her way onto your lap but is content to sit by your side soaking in all the love. She is really a great girl!"
"Oh, Laiza! She was bouncy, playful, and LOVED the water! I was filling the pool and she got right into the spray. She came over to me for snuggles and was affectionate, yet also independent."
Laiza is looking for a family who will welcome her indoors as a real member of the family and give her time to learn all her indoor doggy skills. While she is a darling girl she doesn’t shares her kennel but is generally easygoing in playgroup, she has a couple of important requirements to ensure her safety:
• Laiza has a history of escaping by jumping a 5.5-foot fence with ease. Her new home absolutely requires a highly secured yard or plan to mitigate her determined escape artistry.
• Laiza is semi-social in the shelter and gets along okay with other dogs in playgroup. However, she was involved in an altercation with another dog through a fence, causing minor injuries. Therefore, she requires a mandatory meet-and-greet with any resident dogs to ensure a good fit, and her interactions must be monitored closely.
• Laiza is on medication for stiffness in her back legs. Her new family must be committed to managing her mobility and medication needs to keep her comfortable.
If you are a sucker for redheads and can provide a secure, loving home that appreciates a talented escape artist, Laiza has a wealth of love to give! Come meet this deserving girl today—she would love to lay her ginger head down knowing that she's safe in her furever home.
Available for foster care (minimum 2+ weeks) or adoption through PACC.
Interested parties:
Must visit PACC before the COB Friday November 14th , 2025 deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit.
