More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 13, 2025 and am ready to go home today!

Bio: Darling senior Laiza is no stranger to shelter life, having been adopted way back in 2019, and unfortunately finding herself here again when her owners were unable to care for her. She has known the comfort of having a family and we sure want to get her back into a loving home where she belongs! Laiza’s volunteer friends are amazed that she hasn’t been snatched up yet, they love her so! Here’s what they’ve said:
“Laiza is an affectionate, people oriented beautiful redhead! She is so happy to get out of her kennel and go to a play yard with her kennelmate. Once in the yard she is so sweet and just follows me around as I clean up, settling in by my side for pets and snuggles. She is affectionate, but not obnoxiously so; she doesn’t push her way onto your lap but is content to sit by your side soaking in all the love. She is really a great girl!”
“Oh, Laiza! I met her for the first time today and she was friendly, curious and welcoming at her kennel door. She was easy to leash and walk over to a play yard. She was bouncy, playful and LOVED the water!! I was filling the pool and she got right into the spray of water. She ran around the yard, hopping in and out of the pool. She came over to me for snuggles and was affectionate, yet also independent.”
Laiza shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs prior to heading home to ensure a good fit. Laiza is looking for a family who will welcome her indoors as a real member of the family and give her time to learn all of her indoor doggy skills.
