Bio: Judy is a lovely lady who hopes that she can teach you about not judging a book by its cover. She may be a sturdy gal tipping the scales at over 100 pounds, but you won't find a more relaxed or gentle pup in the shelter! Also, she has a thyroid issue so give her a break, ok??? She’s on medication and is looking for a home where her health will be a priority.
In her former home Judy did well with kids and other dogs, was house trained, and was well- behaved when left home alone. Judy is a volunteer and day trip favorite- here’s what some of her friend shave said:
“Judy is a very calm and mellow dog. She would much rather relax on the couch than to run or play. It was very clear Judy is housebroken and leash trained! When walking her, there was very little pulling on the leash and she matches your walking speed. She was timid at first but even after just 30 minutes her personality of a gentle giant came through. She was a little hesitant using stairs at first but was able to figure them out fairly quickly. She also did not bark at all. Please adopt this sweetheart!”
“Judy is a very chill and lovable pup. She just wants to snuggle (snuggles are her fav). She's a very good listener and is well leash trained. She loves the car and people watching.”
“Judy is a sweet girl. She's good on the leash and looks to you for direction. I think she would plug in well to any home and any family would be lucky to have her. It was a real treat to spend the afternoon with her. She is a sweet, chill, lovely girl!”
“Judy is a gentle giant and a polite walker. She’s easy to leash and not reactive. She listens to corrections and once she finds out your walking speed, she matches it. In a yard, she mostly chills with her kennelmate. She’s definitely a nice gal!”
Judy shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Judy today!!
