More Info: I have been at the shelter since Dec 21, 2025 and am waiting for my owners. I may be available for adoption on Dec 28, 2025.

Bio: The name Cardinal probably brings to mind the football team or the bright red bird… well, our Cardinal doesn’t play football (his snout makes it hard to find a helmet that fits), and he definitely doesn’t know how to fly (his paws don’t create a lot of lift). He has his own special qualities though, like being a VGB- that’s Very Good Boy!
Back with us at PACC in 2022, Cardinal recently returned as a stray like so many of our other residents. It’s a post- pandemic epidemic! He’s a cute middle- aged guy with a funny face that always looks mildly concerned, even though he’s really a pretty easygoing boy. He enjoys taking a dip in the doggy pool, so if you have a pool at home, he’ll happily pack up his doggles and his dogkini and head to your place!
Cardinal shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social, tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit- and that they don’t show up at the pool in the same dogkini- that would be awkward!! Ask to meet Cardinal today!
