Bio: From Jerry's foster:
Jerry is the best! He is housetrained and crate trained. He walks loose on leash and takes treats gently. At our home he is the only pet, but I believe he did well with his large female kennel mate at the shelter. Not a fan of cats.
He is very affectionate and loves to give kisses and receive belly rubs. He is very intelligent, learns quickly and is food motivated. He is underweight, so we're trying to help him gain a few pounds. He is the perfect combination of active and couch potato. He likes to play fetch but will also curl up with you to watch a movie. He is non-destructive when left alone. He loves stuffed squeaky toys and kongs filled with peanut butter. He has velvety soft fur and makes the silliest facial expressions. He sleeps in the strangest positions and he only woofs when he's dreaming about something or expecting a treat. He's afraid of the dark, so when I take him outside at night, we have a flashlight to chase the shadows away. He is a big love bug who has had a rough life and deserves someone special who appreciates him and showers him with affection. He will reciprocate!
