Bio: Buddy the Elf from the goofy classic Christmas movie “Elf” enjoyed the four major food groups of candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup. He LOVED sugar and included some in every meal. Our little sweetie Elf doesn't so much eat sugar as he exudes it with his super sweet and friendly personality!
Elf is a fan favorite here at the shelter- here’s what some of his friends have said:
“Elf is very sweet and friendly! I entered his kennel and he showed me four feet on the floor for a treat. We had a very nice walk together; he noticed other dogs, but didn’t pull towards them or bark. He was focused on walking and checking in with me for treats and pets. He’s a great, sweet boy!”
“Elf did great on both our outings this week. He was calm, easy to leash, and didn’t pull much. He had a great time running laps around the play yard with his kennelmate. Good boy Elf!”
“Elf was calm in his kennel and very eager to go on his walk. I asked him to sit a few times during our walk, and he’d listen and sit for a treat. The park was pretty busy with people and dogs, but he didn’t react and stayed focused on making his way around the lake. He’s a dog that seems to want to go, go, go. Maybe a good hiking buddy!”
“Elf is a fun, energetic and affectionate dog. I take him out often and he is so friendly, loves to play with his kennelmate (and he’s had several), and is just a fantastic dog!”
Elf has shared his kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit.
In the movie, Buddy the Elf enthusiastically said, "I'm in love, I'm in love, and I don't care who knows it!” We think you’ll feel the same about our Elf- ask to meet him today!!
