Bio: Alma is an incredibly sweet girl who needs a soft place to land. Shelter life is hard for a lady who is more suited to long naps on a soft bed and quiet time with her favorite humans! Alma first came to the shelter back in 2024 and was a favorite for day trips and pawjama parties even then:

“Alma is gentle and easygoing. She did not bark at all. She tolerated the car ride well. She was curious about people, kids, and dogs passing by. Not good with stairs but loves to be pet. We feel she may be older than we think; she moves very slow and would be perfect in a couch potato home.”

“Alma likes short walks and she is house and crate trained. She likes to sleep for several hours, like a cat. She will sleep in her own bed or with you in your own bed. She won't walk up or down stairs but does appreciate help. Alma is quiet and never barks. She also enjoyed her crinkly toy that had a squeaker inside.”

Alma was adopted in early 2025 but has returned to the PACC and is really struggling with the hectic pace of shelter life. She needs a quiet home and to be pampered and cared for by a loving family. She moves at a sloth- like pace as she explores the world and loves to nap in the sunshine, so is the perfect companion for someone with a quiet lifestyle.

Alma shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Please ask how you can help Alma today!!
