Bio: Maximus is a handsome guy who shines outside of his kennel- just ask to meet him and you’ll see! This affectionate, playful boy has many fans at the shelter- here’s what some of them have said:
“Maximus can be vocal behind the barrier of his kennel, but don’t let that deter you! He leashes easily and once away from the noise, he is just an easygoing snuggle bug. He jumped up on one of the picnic tables and I gave him some love and pets and he gave me a couple sweet kisses on the cheek. He’s a cute fella!”
“This morning was my first time walking Maximus. Once outside he relaxed and accepted treats willingly. We walked around the lake with his kennelmate. Maximus walked with loose body language and a wagging tail. Such a good boy!”
“Maximus is a friendly guy who’s always excited to leave his kennel. As soon as he gets to a play yard, he starts bouncing and zooming around which is super cute. He’s overcome a great deal since he’s been at PACC. He’s a great pup who is full of potential.”
Maximus spent several months in a foster home after finding himself at risk in the shelter and we learned so much about him!
- He became best friends with the resident cattle dog
- He is house and crate trained
- He is well- behaved overall when left home alone
- He is loving, cuddly, loyal, sweet and affectionate
- He needs time to feel comfortable with new people
“Maximus is so cute when he plays! He loves little toys and they make him so happy, he jumps up from his front legs and tosses them in the air to catch them, he has had fun chasing shadows and lasers and gets so excited when he sees them. He finds joy in the simplest things and his happiness is infectious and cute!”
Maximus shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He may do best in a lower traffic home without heavy visitor traffic, but he bonds deeply to his trusted people and has so much love to share! Ask to meet Maximus today!
