Age: The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 6 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Mar 11, 2025 and am waiting for my owners. I may be available for adoption on Mar 12, 2025.

Bio: Donzo is a big handsome guy who lived with other dogs in his prior home. He did not have a secure yard, which ultimately led to him being surrendered to the shelter. Donzo would love to find a home where he can spend his days indoors with his family and one where he is kept safe and sound by people who care for him. Here’s what some of his volunteer friends have said:
“Donzo is one of my favorite dogs at the shelter. He’s a cute derpy puppy who has a joie de vivre despite living in a kennel for almost six months and taking medication for a history of seizures. Sometimes the medications can make him tired, but he is always eager to go to the yard or take a walk, even if he’s woken from a deep slumber. Today, we went to a yard and I gave him plush squeaky toy. He would run after it, throw it up in the air, grab it, shake it, drop it, and run around with it. It was very entertaining and made me love him even more.”
“Donzo is a huge goofball! He loves spending time out of his kennel and always makes me smile. He’s got tons of character and really deserves to be part of family.”
“Donzo is a sweet pup who likes to take things slowly. He absolutely loves spending time in a yard with his kennelmate and enjoys petting once he knows you.”
Donzo arrived at the shelter unfamiliar with walking on leash, but he’s a smart boy who picked it up quickly. He loves his daily walks these days and would be happy to keep you company on a daily stroll. Donzo has seizures and needs a foster or adoptive home where his family will continue his medications.
Donzo has shared his kennel and has been playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Please ask to meet Donzo today!
