Bio: The Winnie the Pooh stories are chock full of lessons about life, love and friendship. Piglet once asked Pooh “How do you spell love?” to which Pooh replied simply that “You don’t spell it, you feel it.” Well, our Winnie is a dog, so spelling is not her strong suit either…but making you feel love? That’s a dog’s specialty!!
Winnie initially came to the shelter as a stray before being adopted and spending six weeks in a home. In that home she was reportedly house and crate trained, playful, loved toys, liked car rides and was very affectionate. Here’s what her former family said:
“Winnie is so adorable, she is always at your side wagging her tail and smiling. She loves her people and will be a shadow and cuddle bug to anyone who adopts her. We got her a kiddie pool to play in and she flipped it over to use as a bed- it was funny. I think she would do amazing in an only dog household with humans who spoil her.”
Winnie has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. She also wouldn’t mind being your one and only!
Winnie the Pooh also said, “I was walking along looking for somebody, and then suddenly I wasn't anymore.” Our Winnie is looking for someone too, and she’d love to end her search with you! Ask to meet Winnie today!!
