Bio: Whole milk, oat milk, soy milk, coconut milk… our great grandparents would be shocked to see the numerous varieties of milk that you can find at any grocery store these days! One milk variety that was around when our grandparents were kids and that will surely endure the test of time is chocolate milk! Well, we’d like to introduce you to a refreshingly sweet pup by the name of Chocomilk!

Chocomilk spent time in a foster home where he got a rave review:

“Chocomilk was an absolute gem and one of the best foster dogs we have had. He is very attentive to humans, listens exceptionally well, and is obedient – a perfect gentleman. While Choco does enjoy interaction, he also likes to lounge and does so with aplomb- he will fall asleep anywhere including on you! That is also another fantastic feature about Choco, he is very cuddly and affectionate and loves to share the couch with you, plus his silky-smooth coat and velvet ears are hard to ignore and just beg to be petted! If he is not lounging or cuddling, he loves to play with his people including some fetch, tug-of-war, and all-time favorite, chasing him – he just likes to show off his speed and how athletic he is.

He is also great in the house, nondestructive and house trained. He has no problem being left home alone for 8 hours. He is good at entertaining himself with toys, which he loves snoozing through the day and just being a good boy. He is very good with commands and since he is food motivated, learns super quickly! He learned “paw” and “down” in two days, adding to his other tricks of “sit” and “stay.” On the leash he does well for a dog his age – he can pull a little bit if excited, but you can correct him easily. He can be dog-reactive when walking and will probably need some work to get better at that. He is also super good in the car, which is nice because he absolutely loves to ride the car and take in the sights and smells around town!

Overall, Choco is an absolute sweetheart that deserves a great home; he is affectionate, obedient, and would be an awesome companion and great friend. We absolutely loved having him in our life and would have kept him if we were not leaving the country.”

Here's what some of Chocomilk’s other friends have said:

“Smarty pants alert! Not only is he handsome, but he’s got brains! Choco is one of the most intelligent and attentive dogs that I’ve spent time with at PACC. He anticipates what the handler may ask of him before they ask. The fact that he’s very treat motivated is also a bonus. He’ll go far in a home!”

“Chocomilk loves kids! He would be a great family dog. Loves cuddles and is very chill. He is also very gentle. Loves treats so much!”

“Chocomilk was easy to leash. I took him to a play yard where he explored with his nose. He has a nice “sit” and took treats gently. He enjoyed being pet and is a nice, sweet boy!”

Chocomilk would like to meet any potential furry roommates to ensure a good fit before heading home. If you’re looking for a calorie-free daily sweet treat, come meet Chocomilk!
