Bio: Meet Baby!
Baby is a sweet, expressive girl who’s equal parts couch potato and playful goofball. She was abandoned before arriving at the shelter, but she’s settled beautifully into home life and is now ready for a family who will give her all the love she’s been missing.
House Manners
Baby is fully housetrained and has learned to communicate clearly when she needs to go outside—she’ll sit by the door or give you a very serious stare until you ask her. She also loves her kennel and often chooses to relax in it on her own. At bedtime, get ready for some adorable (and loud) snoring!
Behavior Around Dogs & Animals
Baby hasn’t met dogs up close yet, but she stays calm and nonreactive on walks unless another dog reacts first. Even then, she settles quickly. She hasn’t been introduced to kids or other animals, so slow, thoughtful introductions are recommended.
Leash & Training
She’s a breeze to gear up—calm for her harness and leash—and she’s a great walking buddy who rarely pulls. She learns fast, understands basic commands like sit, lay down, and kennel, and sometimes gets adorably focused on sniffing her surroundings.
Personality & Quirks
Baby LOVES attention and has the cutest way of asking for it—she’ll tap you gently or place her paw on you and leave it there until the pets resume. She’s an expressive girl with a face for every mood: happy, sleepy, suspicious, or silly. She enjoys squeaky toys (especially her current favorite, a squeaky coffee cup), bursts of playtime, and long naps where she sprawls out in the funniest ways. Her best quality? She’s an excellent communicator and will always let you know exactly what she needs. Ideal Home Baby would thrive in a home where she can spend most of her time indoors relaxing, cuddling, and being part of the family, with regular time outside for walks and play. She would be perfect for someone looking for a loving, slightly stubborn, super-sweet companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. I
f you're looking for a devoted, affectionate girl with personality for days, Baby just might be your perfect match.
