Mac and cheese is one of the great American comfort foods, but if you’re watching your waistline and still want the comfort factor, we have another option- Macaroni!! This sweet, bouncy, playful and affectionate young boy is ready to be your best friend- a steady sidekick bringing comfort and companionship to your life!! Here’s what one volunteer said:
“Macaroni is really cute and his coat is soft. He is easy to leash and loves running around the yard with his kennelmate.”
Macaroni is silly, playful and goofy- you can’t help but smile as he romps around the play yard or jumps up to be as close as possible for snuggles and smooches. He shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social, tolerant and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Macaroni today!!
Available for foster care (30+ days) or adoption through PACC.
Interested parties:
Must visit PACC before the 5:00PM Monday OCTOBER 13th deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. Some dogs may also require an introduction to any dogs they may potentially live with.
Home Management Plan
1) Handling Issues - Very reactive to handler in kennel
• Go slow and at the dogs pace, does not like forced handling.
• Your new pet may fear bite if handling is forced, give your new pet time to decompress.
• Your new pet needs a dragline for at least 2 weeks, or until they are comfortable in their new home.
2) DOG INTRO REQUIRED
• Due to forward and pushy greetings with other dogs, and being stiff with unaltered males seen in playgroup.
3) Containment Issues
• Macaroni has a history of climbing fences to get into other yards, digging under fencing.
• When outside, make sure to keep hold of their leash until they have settled into the home. Don’t leave unattended.
