Bio: Rayo is a young boy who is full of perfect puppy energy! He was surrendered to the shelter after six months in a home where he was reportedly good with kiddos. He did not have a secure yard, so that’s a must for this boy’s future! During a brief adoption Rayo was house trained, well- behaved when left home alone, and was described as affectionate and playful.
“Rayo loves to stretch out at the top of the bed and naps curled up on the couch. He is good at taking treats in exchange for tricks, likes riding with the windows half down in the car, and LOVES squeaky toys. He loves morning rubs and likes to sleep next to you! He is a really sweet and intelligent boy who needs someone who can train him.”
Here's what some of Rayo’s friends at the shelter have said:
“Rayo is a big goofball and he absolutely loves people! In a yard, after his initial zoomies to drain his energy, he likes to cuddle and give sloppy kisses.”
“Rayo was eager to get out of his kennel and he responded well to my training cues to sit and wait until I invited him to come out of the kennel. On the walk, he immediately did his business and was pretty polite on the leash! What a pleasant surprise! He takes treats gently, knows sit (sort of - with a treat lure) and likes eating grass (who doesn't?). Completely nonreactive to other dogs and walkers. Sweet pupper!”
“Hold on because this boy a strong! He was easy leash from the outside and he was not reactive to dogs in the kennel area or on the walk. He is working on sitting on command. He liked his scritches.”
Rayo has been playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup; he’d like to meet any potential furry roommates before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Rayo today!!
