Name: Figaro-Po
Animal ID: A875972
Age: 1 year 3 months
Weight: 25lbs

About: At just one year and three months old, Figaro-Po is a small but mighty Whippet with a huge character, and he’s searching for an adventure buddy to share his life with. This smart little guy provides endless comic relief—he's incredibly affectionate, loves giving hugs, and will do just about anything for a tasty treat! He perfectly embodies the Whippet's ability to be both active and relaxed: he loves going on walks and car rides, but he’s also perfectly content being your devoted couch potato companion, following you around the house just to be near you.
While he loves chasing a ball, he hasn't quite mastered the "bring it back" part yet, which is just part of his charming, goofy nature! Figaro-Po is highly intelligent but needs a dog-savvy owner to help him navigate the world. He requires an owner who understands resource guarding (kennel training can help at mealtimes), and he could use some focused leash training to help him manage his reactivity toward other dogs while out walking. Any resident dogs will need a careful introduction, as he can be nervous and defensive when meeting new canine friends. With consistent guidance and love, this sweet Whippet will thrive as a devoted and entertaining companion!
Available for adoption ONLY through PACC.
Interested parties:
Must visit PACC before the 3:00PM Sunday November 2nd, 2025 deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. Some dogs may also require an introduction to any dogs they may potentially live with.
