Bio: Lemon- Lime is a bright, spunky, and perfectly sweet little lady who is looking to bring her bubbly personality to your house! This young, exuberant pup has found shelter life to be a little bit stressful, and she’d love to move to a quieter corner of the world. Despite her stress though, her sweet and playful personality is shining bright- here’s what some of her friends at the shelter have said:
“Lemon- Lime is a wigglebutt sweetie pie! She was very easy to leash up in her kennel. We brought her over to a play yard for a potential play date with a male dog and she was super excited, trying to engage him in rowdy play. She was friendly, with a high wagging tail the whole time we were in the yard together. She would explore a little and then return to me for pets. She is snuggly and affectionate and was giving me kisses and was sweet to her new doggy friend in the yard. They were so cute, following each other around the yard exploring together. She sat side by side with the other dog andshared affection appropriately. She was just easygoing and sweet the entire time. Her play is a bit boisterous and theother dog in the yard wasn’t interested in playing, but she respected his communication.”
“I took Lemon-Lime out to see how she's doing. She was very quiet in the kennel and was easy to leash from the outside. She was not reactive at all walking away from the kennels and walked nicely by my side. We went to a yard and got some cuddles and then played a little bit of fetch. She responds really well to vocal cues and handler attention so I used that and the ball as a reward. We worked on drop it and she was very good at trading one tennis ball for another.”
“I took Lemon- Lime to a play yard for a potty break. She is SO sweet. She spent most of her time quietly sitting by my side, and at one point gently put her front paws on my lap and gave me kisses. She is a really sweet puppy and enjoyed affection and attention.”
Lemon- Lime has been playful and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet her today!!
