Bio: Kasper is an old man with a young soul! He knows that age is nothing but a number and that at 13 years old, he’s still up for most any adventure! Ok, maybe not like… an ultra marathon… but regular type adventures!
Kasper lived in one home his WHOLE life- 13 years as part of a family. He reportedly did well with kiddos, other dogs of all sizes, and even livestock. He was well behaved when left home alone, was house trained, and was describe by his former family as an affectionate old man. No dog belongs in a shelter, especially a senior dog who has had a home and family his entire life.
Here's what volunteers at the shelter have said:
“Oh Kasper! This studly senior is a sweet puppy in an old man’s body! He was very friendly when I entered a play yard that he was in. He approached me for pets and snuggles. He was very playful and friendly with his kennel mate. At one point she jumped up onto my lap and he just walked right underneath her so that he could get next to me for snuggles as well. I sat on the ground and he parked himself across my lap, before continuing to explore the yard. He would turn and look at me when I called his name and was curious and friendly when people walked by the yard. He has a wap- a-wap tail which was going full speed the whole time we were in the yard!”
“This cute guy with his big handsome face and friendly demeanor is irresistible. He’s super easy to leash up and handle. He’s well-behaved and doesn’t react to other dogs while out and about. He’s curious and enjoys exploring and is a good combination of being independent mixed with being a Velcro dog. Kasper has a lot of spunk for a senior but he’s also mellow, adorably goofy, has a great attitude and his tail rarely stops wagging. He’s a big, sweet softy who adores being loved and pampered. Kasper is full of life and love. Please don’t let this tender-hearted senior live in a shelter- he needs and deserves comfort and companionship in his retirement years!”
Kasper shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social, playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Please ask about this perfect elder statesman today!!
