Bio: Wayne Newton’s biggest hit was the 1963 tune “Danke Schoen”, a song that looks back fondly on time shared with someone special. The title translates to “thank you very much”, and our Wayne would love to find a home so he can one day look back fondly on a life shared with his family and thank them!! Here’s what some of his friends at the shelter have said:
“Wayne is a sweet and handsome guy! He’s a bit nervous but walks nicely. He likes cheese and allows pets to earn them.”
“Wayne was super silly and playful yesterday. I hadn’t handled him for a little while and he’s a completely different dog! Easy to leash and not reactive. He had a lot of fun with his kennelmate in the yard, running around and jumping in the pool. He was affectionate and came for cuddle a few times. I’m so glad Wayne is coming out of his shell.”
Wayne is looking for a family that will help him continue to build confidence- we know he’ll thrive with time and love! He shares his kennel with another PACC pup and will likely benefit from having a confident pup in his future home who can show him the ropes. He’s been playful, social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup Ask to meet Wayne today!!!
