Bio: Sweet Sasha, as her volunteer friends call her, is truly a ray of sunshine in a furry, wiggly body! She’s 74 pounds of pure love! At six years old, she’s the perfect age; past the crazy puppy years, but with plenty of energy and zest to make a wonderful, lively companion for a family for years to come. Whether you’re looking for a pup to join you on your daily walks, to play with in the backyard, or to snuggle on the couch, Sasha could be your perfect match! Her volunteer friends adore her:
“I've taken Sasha out for walks a couple of times. Once away from the shelter she settles nicely and is an easy walker, mostly walking on a loose leash. Overall, Sasha is a very friendly, sweet girl who is enjoyable to walk!”
“Sasha is a fun and playful lady who knows how to sit so pretty in her kennel! She was friendly upon first meeting her and easy to take out of her kennel. In a play yard she enjoys chasing a tennis ball. She’s so funny- she gets super excited and runs wildly after the ball, but doesn’t quite know how to pick it up and bring it back to me! She bounds after it and has the funniest little pounce when she gets to it, but then she leaves it there. I love her little curly tail and her big smile! She’s a sweet and fun girl!”
Sasha has been easygoing and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. We keep telling Sasha that her furever family will find her any day now… could it be today? Could it be you? Ask to meet Sasha!!
