Bio:
Maeve is definitely the sweetest, most affectionate and loving kitty. Maeve was dealing with a medical issue which caused her great discomfort and itching. When it bothered her, she would get really loud and vocal, but her normal disposition is quiet and calm. Around our cat Alizé, Maeve was really chill and seemed completely unbothered. Alizé was the one with issues and a bit more territorial, especially around my daughter (her owner), so we pretty much kept them separated.

We didn’t notice any behavioral issues with Maeve or see her display fear of objects, situations or people. When my daughter’s friends would come over she didn’t run and hide, but she also didn’t necessarily seek their attention.

She’s definitely litter box trained and we never had any accidents or issues. There were just a couple of messes towards the end of her stay with us, just before we took her in for treatment, when we had to clean up due to hairball vomiting, and I’m pretty sure that was just because she was over-grooming due to the skin condition that was disturbing her. She had a good appetite, ate dry and wet food well, and enjoyed creamy cat treats. When left alone, Maeve pretty much just napped and liked to hang out in my room, either under or on my bed or in the hallway with Alize. I did notice she’s not as playful as most kittens tend to be- never witnessed her playing with any of the cat toys or even sitting in/on the cat tree.

Maeve is not the most cuddly cat, and I wouldn’t describe her as a curious or social cat. She’s more reserved but is definitely friendly and never displayed aggression. She would come to myself or my daughter for attention, when she wanted it, usually in the evenings. She can be very vocal and insistent when she wants attention. She loves being pet/stroked and has a nice loud purr too. She doesn’t seem to know her name yet (or maybe she simply doesn’t care)- never responded when called by her name like our other cat does.
All in all though, Maeve is a real sweetie ?? and I’m positive she will make someone a very happy and content cat owner.
