Bio: Gertie is a young pup who can be a tad shy at first but opens up quickly. She’d love to find a family who will show her that she’s safe so her personality can shine!! Here’s what one friend at the shelter said:
“Oh, Gertie girl! If you give Gertie time to trust you, you’ll get to see what a delightfully sweet dog she is. While shy, she gets a boost of confidence from her kennel mate on walks and in play yards. Gertie watched her friend approach me for treats, and soon, Gertie did too. I even got a quick, gentle lick to my arm! I discovered Gertie likes to dip her toes in the kiddie pool. She and her KM cooled off together. I’d love to see Gertie have the time to open up in a home!”
Gertie shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d love to have a confident doggy companion who can show her the ropes in her future home. Ask to meet Gertie today!!
