Bio: If you mention frost to a Tucsonan, our minds will likely not go to the winter phenomena known to people who live in most other parts of the country, but rather to our local, well-loved Frost Gelato shop! With flavors made fresh daily ranging from passion fruit to chai tea, alpencaramel to peanut butter crunch, Frost Gelato is sure to hit the spot when you’re looking for a sweet treat! If you’re looking for an equally sweet pup, our gal Frost is sure to satisfy your craving for years to come! Frost’s volunteer friends think she’s pretty great, with one sharing:
“Frost was very eager to get outside where she immediately went potty. She walked well on the leash and got a bit tuckered out the further we got. When I sat on a bench, she climbed up next to me, presenting me with her hiney, which I obediently scratched. This wonderful lady sure loves her treats! She is a very friendly girl and was easy to re-kennel.”
Frost shares her kennel politely in the shelter and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any smaller dogs in her future home to ensure a good fit.
Frost is a lovely middle-ager who has left those wacky puppy years behind and is looking to spend her golden years in the slow lane. She will likely be as happy going for slow meandering walks as hanging out on the couch with her humans. If you’re looking for a 70 pound lap dog, Frost volunteers! If your heart and lap are feeling lonely, Frost is ready to fill them. Come and meet her today!
