I am a spayed female, brown and tan Canaan Dog and Queensland Heeler.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 7 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jun 11, 2026.
Tahlia is a sweet girl who has plenty of fans at the shelter- here’s what some of them have said:
“I enjoyed another peaceful morning walk with Tahlia yesterday! She walks beautifully on the leash and loves taking her time to sniff, explore, and simply enjoy the world around her. She’s a gentle girl who really enjoys slowing down, looking around, and relaxing with you. Tahlia is a little shy but she’s gaining confidence everyday thanks
to the patience and care of the wonderful staff and volunteers. She’s blossoming more and more with each positive experience.”
Tahlia was slightly timid when I went into her kennel, but easily leashed up. She’s a very friendly dog, and did seem to enjoy being petted, so I think she would do well in a nice quiet, consistent environment.”
“Tahlia is a very good girl and you just have to meet her outside of her kennel! She was shy in her kennel, so we went over to a play yard. Once in the yard she just took in her surroundings for a couple of minutes, but then she turned into a total sweetie pie. The longer we were together, the closer she got to me until she wascompletely leaned up against me and we enjoyed some snuggle time together. She’s a darling pup.”
Tahlia’s former family described her as an affectionate, playful and smart girl who enjoys hiking, is house trained, and loves toys.
“Once Tahlia has warmed up to you she is very sweet, funny, respectful and protective- a wonderful dog. She wants to be the center of attention.”
Tahlia has shared her kennel politely and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. No cats please! Ask to meet Tahlia today!!
