More Info: I have been at the shelter since Mar 02, 2026.
The practice of yoga takes many cues from the animal world, with moves like Cobra, Cat/Cow, Eagle and Butterfly. Our sweet senior pooch Yoga is particularly fond of the Upward and Downard Facing Dog poses, because, you know… she’s a dog and they come pretty naturally! If you’re looking for a pal to help you achieve some Zen, Yoga has you covered!!
Yoga is a day trip and shelter volunteer favorite- check out what some of her friends have said:
“Yoga is such a sweetheart, she’s super laid back and loves to be loved!”
“Super sweet girl! Everyone who met Yoga commented on how sweet she was. When walking past strangers, she would wag her tail and want to approach them. Super super friendly. She loves to be pet and loves attention. Adopt this sweet girl!!!”
“Yoga greeted me happily in her kennel. We went to the closest play yard where she did some cursory sniffing around the yard while I sat on a chair, and then she came and sat on my feet. She was very happy to just sit and be petted for a long time.”
Yoga shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Yoga is ready to love a quiet life full of Shavasana poses (that’s the one where you just lay there and relax)- ask to meet her today!!
