Bio: Meet this sweet and soulful senior pup, a laid-back companion who’s happiest spending time with his people. He has a calm, “chill” personality and loves lounging on the couch or relaxing in his bed nearby, always happy just to be part of the family. While generally easygoing, he is very vocal when storms roll in and can become anxious during thunder and rain. He also has some general anxiety, especially in busier or chaotic environments, though he handles it gently—usually just panting or seeking comfort from his people. Around children, he does best with calm and quieter kids who can respect his sensitive nature. This handsome guy absolutely loves playing ball and takes his game very seriously! In fact, he enjoys it so much that his people have to help him pace himself. Due to severe arthritis, he’s currently on multiple medications to keep him comfortable, and while he still enjoys short walks and playtime, moderation is important to prevent pain and stiffness afterward. Despite his mobility challenges, he still lights up with excitement and has the cutest little “woo-woo” vocalization when he’s happy. He’s house-trained overall, though he may occasionally have accidents in the front room and usually needs one potty break during the night. When left alone, he settles nicely on the couch or in his bed. On leash, he walks well with a loose leash style, though he can be more reactive around smaller dogs than larger ones. This special boy is looking for a patient, loving home that understands his medical needs and gentle spirit. In return, he’ll offer loyal companionship, adorable conversations, and plenty of love to share.
