Bio: Meet Baby Girl (Ahsoka)

At 14 years old, Baby Girl is a sweet, easygoing senior who is happiest taking life at her own pace. She’s an ultra-low-energy girl who loves comfortable beds, naps, quiet time with her people, and relaxing in the yard—especially laying in the cool dirt!

Baby Girl is loving with people she knows, but she can be reserved with people she’s unfamiliar with, so she may take some time to warm up.
Her ideal home is quiet, predictable, and with someone who understands and appreciates senior dogs. She should be the only pet—she is not comfortable with cats or other dogs. Because of her age, mobility limitations, and lack of experience around children, she may do best around older adults that can give her the patience she needs.

Baby Girl enjoys very short walks and gentle play with small balls, but she tires quickly due to hip dysplasia and old injuries to both rear legs. Her exercise needs to remain short and low-impact.

As a senior dog, Baby Girl has medical needs. She requires daily medications, regular grooming and skin care, and ongoing veterinary care. If you’re interested, our staff can go over specific medical counseling.

Despite everything she has been through, Baby Girl is an incredibly sweet and uncomplicated companion. She doesn’t need adventures or a busy life—she needs a soft bed, a peaceful home, someone patient enough to earn her trust, and a person who will love and advocate for her.

Baby Girl is looking for someone who understands that sometimes the greatest gift we can give a senior dog is simply a safe, comfortable place to spend her golden years surrounded by love.
