Bio: The shelter has been overcrowded for several years now and often doesn’t have the ability to bond dogs since it takes a bit more time to find a special adopter for two pups together. Well, Geraldine and Satchmo are so special that PACC has deemed them bonded and is hoping to find these two special seniors a home together!
These two oldies but goodies are as sweet as they come- they LOVE people and are affectionate, snuggly, mellow and easy to handle. We suspect that once in a home, they’ll prioritize naps and quiet time by their family’s side. Here’s what one volunteer said:
“Both of these sweet seniors are friendly and quick to make friends. These two pals absolutely love to be with people and are super affectionate. They are easy to handle, leash up and walk and they don’t react to dogs or people while they are out and about. And, although these sweet seniors can snooze with the best of them, they are still a little bit goofy and have plenty of energy and a zest for life. Both of these pups absolutely love to snuggle together and have quiet and mellow energy.”
Geraldine and Satchmo are so well- behaved that they spend several days a week schmoozing with the public at the offsite location of PACC’s rescue partner, Tucson Rescue Now. They appreciate the break from the noisy shelter and the extra attention from everyone who visits! Geraldine adores Satchmo and they can often be found cuddled up together in their kennel. If going to a home with other pups, a dog intro is required.
