Bio: Meet Jimmy chew aka Buddy!
Jimmy came to PACC as a tri-pod with severe untreated valley fever back in 2024. He has been in a wonderful foster home where his health has made improvement in!
His foster states: "He has come a long ways but it has been a long journey for him. He is still scared of just about everything but has become my best buddy! We have two other adopted foster dogs and he does fine around them. He doesn’t play or engage with them, he just exists with them. He does not play with toys of any kind. He has 2 beds in my room in which he can be found at any given time. The house can become crazy at times with 2 small kids in which he wants no part of. Buddy takes small walks every day and is good on a leash. I take him separate from the other dogs because he cannot go very far. He has not been around cats but we do have 2 parrots and he is good with them. I have never heard Buddy bark or make any sound at all! There are 2 young kids in the home and he is good with them for the most part. You have to move slowly around him so he doesn’t get startled. He really just follows me around and tolerates everyone else. Buddy has never been in a crate in my house, he has the run of it. Buddy has had a very difficult life and so I have taken it upon myself to make sure his life at my house is one of being pampered. I make all his food and he gets fed twice daily, this being the absolute best time of his day. He is still nervous around people and needs time to warm up to others but hes a very sweet and special boy once he does.
