This Animal’s Characteristics
1. Describe cuddling behavior/affection level: LOVES cuddles and affection. He can’t get
enough of it. He loves sleeping next to people at night or during daytime naps. Is shy at first
when introduced to new spaces and loud noses, but if you fish him out of his hiding place and
pet him, he gets comfortable quickly.
2. Describe play behavior and favorite toys: He likes to play with strings. He loved playing with
teaser wands and strings to pants and hoodies as well once he was comfortable around us.
When he’s in a playful mood, he’ll roll around on his back.
3. Describe activity level: Couch potato. He loves to take naps and prefers to nap with people.
Loves to hide in small dark places and nap there as well. He gets playful towards night time. He
will roll around and chase strings. He loves exploring people’s bedrooms.
4. Look into the animal’s eyes. What is he/she telling you? He is telling me that he wants
affection and someone to love him.
5. What are the best adjectives to describe them? Friendly, shy, cuddly, sleepy, docile, and
affectionate
6. What does the animal specifically DO that exemplifies those adjectives? He naps all the
time and loves to nap with someone sleeping next to him or petting him. He will always go up to
people and lick their hand/give them love bites to encourage them to keep petting him. If he’s
hiding somewhere, we aren’t scared to fish him out because he doesn’t bite and doesn’t fight
us. If we pick him up and put him on our laps or on our beds, he doesn’t fight it and will tend to
get comfortable if you pet him, unless he is really scared or wants to play.
7. What are the animal’s best qualities? His best qualities are that he is very affectionate,
docile, and a great pet to cuddle with.
8. What are your favorite things about him or her? Cute behaviors? We love how cuddly he
is. When he’s in a playful mood, he loves to roll around or head butt you to encourage you to pet
him and we find it adorable.
9. What is/are your favorite physical characteristic(s) of this animal? We love his big green
eyes and his cute little paws.
10. What would the ideal home look like for him/her? A welcoming home with people who want
to give him a lot of love and cuddles, a family who is willing to let him sleep on their bed at night
and pet him while you watch a movie on the couch. His owners should be aware that he loves
hiding under beds and couches to take naps, so a family who is patient and aren’t afraid to fish
him out of his hiding places when they want to cuddle with or pet him is ideal. He needs love
and coaxing so that he can feel more comfortable around the house.
11. Anything else that would make this animal stand out to an adopter? Nothing else. I believe
that his best qualities are how loving, docile, and affectionate he is.
Medical/Behavior Issue
1. Any medical issues? Yes, had a UTI (needs a urinalysis to determine if he still has it) and
possibly a URI, which he is quickly recovering from. He is also obese, so he is on a diet.
2. Any behavior issues? None
3. Any other special concerns? My only concern is that I noticed that he will forget to use the
bathroom (I had to monitor his bathroom use due to the fact that he had a UTI) for long periods
of time and has a better time remembering to use it if it’s near him in a place he can easily
access. He’s never had an accident outside of the litterbox.
