Bio: Here in Tucson, Maynard’s is a pretty fancy restaurant that folks head to for special occasions. Our sweet Maynard isn’t necessarily opposed to an upscale meal (or any meal really), but he’s a more relaxed, casual kind of guy. Here’s what volunteers have said about this mellow, sweet senior sir:
I took Maynard on a day trip and he was a most awesome hiking buddy today. Hopped right on up into my car and quietly looked out the windows while we drove. He is a loose leash walker and enjoyed stopping to take in all the smells on the trail. He was non-reactive to all the people and dogs we met. He takes treats gently from your hands. All in all a very sweet, easy going and affectionate senior guy who was grateful for his
time out of the shelter and a joy to be around.”
“Sweet Maynard was happy to see me and easy to leash up. We exited the kennel with no problem and he walked with me until we met up with his kennel mate who he was excited to see. He loved getting affection and attention and came in close for more chest rubs and side rubs. He doesn’t appear to know any tricks but that didn’t stop him from enjoying lots of treats. He took treats gently and was such a gentleman on our walk.”
Maynard shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social, tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet this perfect boy today!!
