Bio: Meet Gumdrop!
Gumdrop has been in foster care since March 8th, and in that short time we’ve learned so much about this sweet boy! He absolutely loves other dogs, gets along great with cats, and even ignores livestock. He’s also excellent on leash, making him a wonderful companion for walks and outings.
Gumdrop is still learning the ropes of home life. He’s working on crate training and figuring out how to relax and feel secure in a home environment. After spending 84 days in the shelter—and previously surviving on his own for over 8 months—this is all very new to him.
Despite his past, Gumdrop’s heart has always been with other dogs. He was originally brought to PACC after an officer safely trapped him in a neighborhood where he was known for hopping into yards just to make canine friends. That tells you everything you need to know about his loving, social personality!
Gumdrop would do best in a home with other dogs and a patient adopter who will give him the time and space he needs to adjust, build trust, and blossom into his best self.
If you’re looking for a gentle, dog-loving companion who just needs a chance, Gumdrop might be your perfect match!
