Bio: Meet Willow—better known in her foster home as Creosote ("Creo")! This 1½-year-old spayed Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler) mix is a smart, affectionate, and loyal girl with a big personality packed into a pocket-sized body. After spending time in foster care, she's proven to be an energetic companion who thrives on routine, exercise, and being included in her person's day. She loves learning, already knows commands like sit, stay, come, place, and play dead, and is happiest when she has both physical activity and mental stimulation. With the right family, Creo will be an incredibly devoted best friend and adventure buddy.

As a young working breed, Creo is looking for an active home that understands her needs. She enjoys long daily walks, settles nicely once she's exercised, and continues to make great progress with her training and house manners. She's still learning not to pull on leash when wildlife catches her eye, as she has a strong prey drive, and she'll need continued guidance with house training and polite play. Her foster family has seen tremendous improvement with consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement, and she's eager to keep learning.

Creo's perfect home will be with experienced, active owners who can provide the leadership and routine she needs to succeed. She would do best with children over 10 years old and a confident canine companion that enjoys an energetic play style. Because of her strong prey drive, she would need a slow, structured introduction to any resident cats, and careful management would be essential. She is not a good match for elderly or low-energy dogs and needs a securely fenced yard with at least a 6-foot wall or fence, as she's an athletic climber. If you're looking for a fun, intelligent, and deeply loyal companion and are ready to invest in a young dog's potential, Creo is ready to reward you with a lifetime of love and adventure.
