Bio: Edgar is a handsome old man looking for a comfy retirement home where he can play shuffleboard, snooze in his bark-a-lounger and eat dinner at 4pm. He spent a bit of time in foster- here’s what we learned:
- He is housetrained
- He’s done great with kiddos as young as six and is very gentle
- He loves going on walks and is polite on leash
- He’s extremely lovable and loves to cuddle!
- He likes to play fetch and tug with his a purple lizard toy
- He loves being outdoors and especially likes playing with the hose
- He can relax and rest inside all day, but he is also happy to ride in the car, go places, and go on walks.
- He’s curious, loving, and protective
- He loves to relax, he listens well, and he respects boundaries
“The ideal home for Edgar would be a house with a backyard where he has room to explore. I think a home without many stairs would be best. Since he is older and does not require a huge amount of physical activity, I think he could be a great companion for someone looking for a calmer dog. A daily walk, time outside in the backyard, and plenty of attention would make him very happy. He has done great being left home alone and has behaved perfectly fine while we were gone. He enjoys pup cups, loves breakfast and dinner time, and most of all seems to enjoy simply being around people.”

“Edgar is friendly, well-behaved, tolerant, gentle and very sweet. He’s easy to leash up and walk and has an easy-going personality and the perfect energy level. He has a puppy-like innocence that makes him especially endearing! Simply put he’s just a nice dog who has a zest for life and wants to share it with his human.”
Edgar shares his kennel with another PACC pup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Edgar today!!
