Bio: Tabitha is a sweet, shy 2-year-old girl weighing 20 lbs. who loves dogs but mostly ignores cats. After coming from a home with too many animals, she’s still learning to trust people and can be very timid.
She enjoys quietly napping near my dogs while I work, but sudden movements can spook her. Tabitha wants to be part of the family, just at her own pace, and needs space to feel safe. She uses a dog door and sleeps under the bed at night.
Tabitha will need a patient, understanding home with a secure yard, a predictable routine, and ideally another playful dog to help her feel comfortable. She isn’t ready for handling or leash walks yet, and she may retreat if she feels cornered. With time, patience, and lots of gentle encouragement, Tabitha deserves the chance to blossom into a more confident companion.
