Description: My name is Louie and I am a neutered male, black Domestic Mediumhair.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 13 weeks old.
Weight: I weigh 2.86 lbs.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 28, 2026.
THIS ANIMAL IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!
We are open 7 days a week from 12 pm – 5 pm for walk-in adoptions.
When you decide which animal you want to meet, join our virtual waitlist (follow instructions on the sign in front of the shelter to join using your phone).
If you don't have a smartphone, a staff member can put you on the waitlist after we open.
Louie and his siblings were caught by the homeowner when i was helping her TNR community cats she was feeding.
Summary of Personality: Louie is still shy and not comfortable being held for very long. He needs a patient person to give him the time to warm up. He will likely hide if released into a large room. It would be best to let him know you in a small room where he can't hide.
Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): He has not met any dogs or kids and will be shy around new people. He spent most of his time with his brother Andy and they cuddle and share the hammock to sleep. He was curious about my big cats but did not interact.
Include any observations: Louie enjoys all cat toys to play with and wrestling with his brother Andy.
Hes has always been good using the litter box.
