Description: My name is Jean Grey and I am a spayed female, black tabby Domestic Shorthair.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 14 weeks old.
Weight: I weigh 4.03 lbs.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 05, 2026.
THIS ANIMAL IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!
We are open 7 days a week from 12 pm – 5 pm for walk-in adoptions.
When you decide which animal you want to meet, join our virtual waitlist (follow instructions on the sign in front of the shelter to join using your phone).
If you don't have a smartphone, a staff member can put you on the waitlist after we open.
Brief Bio: Jean came into foster at 5 weeks old with her brother.
She has always been the biggest, as well as fluffiest of the two. Jean gets along with other kittens, and adult cats.
Summary of Personality: Jean is a spunky little girl!
She has always enjoyed her food, sometimes a little too much. She if known to make a mess with her dry food unhinging her jaw to maximize her food per mouthful.
Jean loves toys. While she enjoys cag toys, ropes, etc. Her favorite toy is the chip clip she stole. She will bat it around for hours.
Jean loves to play with her brother and the adult cats, but she also knows how to keep herself entertained if her kitten energy becomes too much for the adult cats.
Jean also LOVES screens. She will try to swipe through your phone, or even try to figure out how to enter the TV. While she is enthralled, she knows to keep her little claws away from the screens.
While Jean is 99.9% a quite kitten, she will let you know if she's upset. If she wakes up and can't find you, you will know by her mighty little meows.
Jean will do great with anyone. She has no problem with Strangers. Once you get down to her level, it's playtime!
If she does get a little nervous, you can always win her over with a treat
