Brief Bio: Violet came as a singleton to our family in excellent health and eating independently. She was (and still is) extremely shy. She hissed everytime we entered her room or began interacting with her. She was slow to trust, but it made it even more rewarding when she did. When introduced to our dog and cat she hissed and ran, and has never gotten over the fear. Patient and respectful animals may be able to win her over, but it is likely that she would prefer to be an only child. As far as actual children go, she does not enjoy loud noises or abrupt movements and would probably hide from younger or very boisterous kids. She has never failed to use the litter box and has never needed medical care.
Summary of Personality: People may think of all kittens as sweet, but most of them are actually fireballs of chaos, really. Violet is actually sweet. She is very ladylike and demure - although she loves playtime and will chase ribbons and yarn for as long as your willing to dangle them. She is extremely gentle - even when she hissed at us whenever we came near her she allowed us to pick her up and handle her without biting or scratching. She is the only kitten I have ever fostered that has never scratched me when play-fighting. She is very timid and would prefer a quieter household. While she will curl up near you or on your lap once she warms up to you, she is also happy to look out the window and play with her toys, so if you work long hours you would not need to feel guilty about her being bored or lonely. She is completely delightful and I hope she finds someone who will treasure her.
Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes
