Located At: San Luis Obispo County Animal Services
Description: My name is Winter and I am a female, cream and tan Great Pyrenees and Australian Cattle Dog.
Age: I am about 2 years and 6 months old.
More Info: I am currently available for adoption.
I have been at the shelter since Aug 21, 2026.
Winter is a 2.5-year-old Great Pyrenees/Cattle Dog mix who is as cute as they come! This sweet girl is friendly with people and loves getting attention from her human friends.
Like many young dogs, Winter could use some continued work on her basic obedience and manners. She’ll thrive with a family that is willing to provide her with structure, consistency, exercise, and positive-reinforcement training.
Winter has shown signs of resource guarding around other dogs, so she would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home. This will allow her to relax and enjoy all the love and attention without having to share her space or resources with another canine companion.
If you’re looking for an affectionate girl to be your one-and-only, Winter could be the perfect match! With a little training and lots of love, she has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
