Meet Dually! (Like the truck!)
Dually is an affectionate, well-mannered Heeler looking for a fresh start. He came to the shelter after the passing of his owner, alongside another dog who has since found a home. Now it's Dually's turn to find a family to call his own. This handsome senior is all about the simple things in life: affection, treats, and spending time with his people. Dually loves to lean against you for pets and attention, and he's always happy to earn a snack. He's treat-motivated, knows sit and shake, and seems to be housebroken. He also enjoys a good game of fetch when the mood strikes! Dually has experience with older children and while he's polite around other dogs, he doesn't seem especially interested in having canine friends. He's happiest minding his own business and doing his own thing. He may be able to live with a calm, respectful dog who understands personal space, but he isn't looking for a wrestling partner or a puppy roommate. Dually would also need to be in a home without cats or chickens.
At 9 years old, Dually is looking for a soft place to land and someone to share his golden years with.
