Description: My name is Elsa and I am a female, brown German Shepherd Dog mix.
Age: I am about 8 months old.

I have been at the shelter since Sep 19, 2026.
Elsa gets along with all dogs, whether they are 10 pounds or 100 pounds! She is super playful and spunky when around her doggie friends and would greatly benefit from having another dog in her forever home. Elsa has come a long way in her confidence but is still very nervous when she initially meets new people or is put in new environments. Elsa gets to go on lots of adventures in her foster home, including daily walks along the bay and hiking in the hills of SLO County. She even tried paddle boarding and was a natural, although she did take a couple dips in the water! Elsa is obsessed with sand and immediately gets the zoomies once her paws touch the beach. She has some quirks, such as chasing her tail and carrying around (but not chewing) her foster mom’s shoes, but these just add to her cuteness! Elsa loves to cuddle and is obsessed with chewing on bones. She would thrive in a home with another dog that wants to play all day and people that are willing to give her time to acclimate to her space.
