I have been at the shelter since Apr 18, 2026.
Bill is a young German Shepard mix, around 9 months old, who has been in the shelter since April. Bill knows his basic obedience commands such as sit and lay down. As a young dog he will benefit from more training and activity in his new home. He loves people and is always ready for some petting or playtime. For a German Shepard, Bill does not have over the top energy levels and is good to walk by your side on leash. Bill was likely unsocialized as a young puppy, so is reactive to other dogs while walking and through fences. At this point he would be best in an only dog home, though he has potential to overcome his reactivity with an experienced adopter or by working with a trainer who knows how to socialize young reactive dogs. Bill is a sweet boy just waiting for the right family to take him home today!
