Tucker is a sweet Chihuahua boy who is learning that the world — and especially humans — aren’t so scary after all. Tucker is a nervous boy, and earning his trust will be a process. He isn’t looking for someone who expects an instant connection; he’s looking for a very patient person who understands that building a relationship takes time, consistency, and lots of positive experiences. As he becomes more comfortable, Tucker will need continued gentle, positive exposure to the world so he can gain confidence at his own pace. Tucker’s ideal adopter will celebrate the small victories — the first time he chooses to come closer, the first little tail wag, and every moment when he realizes he’s safe. In return, they’ll have the incredibly rewarding experience of watching a shy dog discover trust and begin to show his true personality.
